Chapter News: Prairies

The Prairies Chapter hosted our first training opportunity this month in Saskatchewan. Trainer Anne Carroll of Carroll, Franck and Associates delivered her outstanding 1.5 day training course “Designing as if Stakeholders Matter: Understanding and Embracing the Spectrum of Diversity” to 26 attendees in Regina and Saskatoon the week of June 8, 2015.

The course, which focused primarily on the importance of design was well received by Saskatchewan P2 Practitioners. As a result of offering the training, our membership has increased, P2 Practitioners in Saskatchewan are networking and awareness of the IAP2 Spectrum has grown. Our first attempt at hosting a training event in Saskatchewan was a success and we look forward to offering the same training opportunity in Winnipeg this fall.

Feedback from participants:

  • “That was an EXCELLENT training! …I learned a great deal, and all was relevant.”
  • “Anne did a great job in presenting a difficult and complex topic in a practical and understandable manner”
  • “Fantastic trainer — can’t remember the last time I participated in training with such a qualified and engaging trainer.”
