Think about this …
Where will the next generation of P2 professionals come from? The IAP2 Canada Board recently voted to increase its commitment to encourage students to explore the field, with a scholarship fund for students with an interest in P2. Now, we need your help to kick-start the fund!
The first fun(d)-raiser will be a silent auction at the IAP2 North American conference in Montreal September 28th to 30th and we are asking Chapters, individuals and organizations to donate items for sale.
Consider donating something that represents your area: something classic, like maple syrup from Québec or a Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey, or unusual, like craft-distilled spirits from Vancouver Island or Lunenberg, or pottery from an Ontario artisan. All items are welcome, so have fun thinking up things that will be of interest to attendees from Australia, Canada, England, France, the U.S., and more. Having a variety of items for conference attendees to bid on will help make the conference more fun and the fundraiser a greater success.
Ready to help? Email your contribution idea to Amelia Shaw at firstname.lastname@example.org and bring your silent auction donation with you to the conference!
This is a very important fundraiser and a fun way for us all to help establish this scholarship, which will be available to all Canadian student members. Thank you for your participation in this event!
