With the events of the past year, the term “sea change” has never been more applicable for our society – and for our profession. That makes the Second Annual IAP2 USA Skills Symposium all the more important: it’s an opportunity to learn to ride the waves of new ideas and techniques.
The Skills Symposium is a week (Feb. 27 – March 3) at the Bahia Resort in San Diego, California, where you can learn new skills, sharpen the ones you have, and spend quality time in the company of other P2 practitioners. Take the entire Foundations course (you’ll need it for Certification).
Get fresh ideas on how to deal with Emotion, Outrage and P2, especially When Things Go Sideways. Learn about Building Trust for Civil Communication. Conquer your so-med-phobia. Develop a facility for facilitation with an Introduction to Facilitation or a two-day session on Group Facilitation. Sharpen up your knowledge on Designing for Diversity to bring the under-represented into dialogues that affect them. See the full list of classes in the Schedule-at-a-Glance.
But there’s no time to lose! We’ll be deciding January 25 which classes will go ahead, based on interest. You can register now (click on the individual classes) and pay later (up to the start of the symposium). Make sure you take advantage of the special rate ($139/night) at the Bahia! Click here to get the rate or ask the reservations desk for the “IAP2 Conference Block”.
See you in San Diego!
